BeCrop Farm Requirements
To get the most value from BeCrop Farm, there are a few key requirements to meet before beginning your project. This ensures accurate Smart Zonification, meaningful BeCrop Index metrics, and high-confidence agronomic recommendations.
Account Requirements
- A BeCrop Farm account is required to upload fields and manage your project.

Field Requirements
To ensure sufficient data coverage and modeling accuracy, your enrolled project must meet the following criteria:
For Corn, Soy, Wheat, and Cotton:
- Projects with 0 to 300 total acres are priced as a fixed farm price
- Projects with more than 300 total acres are priced per acre
- Fields can be any number and any size
- The maximum distance between any two fields is 15 km (9 miles)
For All Other Crops:
- Projects with 0 to 230 total acres are priced as a fixed farm price
- Projects with more than 230 total acres are priced per acre
- Fields can be any number and any size
- The maximum distance between any two fields is 15 km (9 miles)
File Requirements for Upload
Fields must be uploaded via:
- One-click mapping
- Drawing manually in the portal
- Uploading a shapefile (recommended for precision)
- Partner Integration
Shapefiles should represent accurate, georeferenced field boundaries for best results.
