Case Study

Biological Ag Input Testing

Hello Nature, a biological ag-input manufacturer, wanted to measure and verify the effects of their EcoVam and Stimtide products on pimento pepper crops. Hello Nature worked with Dewitt Produce in Moultrie, Georgia to conduct biological ag-input testing. The focus of this study was primarily on improving soil nutrition.

The Solution

Hello Nature performed BeCrop® Tests along with Mehlich 3 and tissue analysis in May 2021 before the application of Hello Nature's EcoVam and Stimtide, followed by a second sampling round in September 2021 after the inputs were applied 3 times (2x on drip tape and one foliar treatment) No other Fertilizers were added throughout the season.

Results

Comparing the BeCrop reports from May and September, We can see that almost all biocontrol, stress adaptation, and nutrient pathways improved as a result of applying Hello Nature's EcoVam and Stimtide products. Most notably, potassium and phosphorous pathway functions increased from low levels to high. A slight increase in calcium pathways was also observed.

The plant-available nutrient levels measured by the Mehlich 3 tests reflected consistent increases of available nutrients per acre.
