Avocado Biological Input Analysis

Agri Marine Terra, a biological agricultural input manufacturer wanted to analyze the effects of their products and prove their efficiency to their customers. They decided to test out the product, BioLifePhos on an avocado farm in Chile, demonstrate its consistency in the soil after 2 months and validate it improves microbial cycling of certain micronutrients (Mn, S).

The Solution

The client completed BeCrop® Trials on 4 parcels with 8 samples. One before and one 60 days after product application. BeCrop Trials analyzed the impact on the soil microbiome. Beneficial organisms inoculated with this product, such as Penicillium bilaiae, are still detected after 2 months. Microbial nutrition pathways for micronutrients Mn and S are improved in 75% of the cases. Micronutrient availability increases thanks to the product.

Results

The biofertilizer BioLifePhos shows the long-lasting benefits of inoculating beneficial microbial species into the soil and improving micronutrient availability through microbial activity.

Agri Marine Terra can use the results from BeCrop® Trials to demonstrate the efficiency of the product and thus can improve sales through more effective marketing.
